As Senior SEO Specialist at Newcraft, you’ll help our top brand clients grow to their maximum potential. In visibility, traffic and organic revenue. You determine the SEO growth strategy, the priorities and you take care of the execution. Achieving maximum growth means that you guide the client in the area of on- and offsite optimizations. Think of optimzing the technology, creating and optimizing content and defending or expanding authority where necessary. In addition, you look for synergy with your SEA colleagues to achieve the optimal result for our clients. Does it get complex? Then you bring in an e-commerce specialist or a data scientist from Newcraft.


Your work doesn’t stop after defining the strategy, because you then the fun stuff begins: helping our clients accelerate. Think about content marketing and visibility on other channels and platforms, such as Youtube and marketplaces. You don’t have to this on your own, you can always count on our specialists from different teams like UX, data, commerce, and CRM.


As SEO specialist at Newcraft, you’ll cooperate with the werk best Black Belts like Sander Tamaëla and Kevin Verleg. Together, you’ll coach trainees in becoming real specialists, and of course you’re never done learning from each other. During every bi-weekly SEO lunch you’ll discuss the latest updates and developments, and you’re responsible for keeping the team’s expertise on par.

About the Organic marketing team

  • A Bachelor’s or Master degree.
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience with an impressive SEO track record.
  • A holistic view of SEO, you understand the interaction between SEO and other online channels and you can determine an SEO strategy.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Understanding of HTML, Javascript and structured data. In other words: technically you are very good at keeping up.
  • Understanding of which content performs well in search engines and which does not.
  • Knowledge of when to work on authority and how.
  • Knowledge of tools such as Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, Search Metrics and Google Analytics.
  • You are good with data: you know your data sources, you can perform analysis and you know how to extract the essence and turn it into action points and opportunities.

  • You are aware of the latest Google updates and SEO ins and outs ,and love to share your knowledge with the team.
  • A strong communicator, fluent in Dutch and English.
