Newcraft joins Wunderman Thompson

Today, Newcraft is entering a new chapter. After fifteen years of building a strong company with incredibly talented and ambitious people, a dynamic culture and an impressive track record with clients, we’re joining Wunderman Thompson, part of WPP. This decision wasn’t made overnight, so let us explain a bit more about this exciting development.

When we started our company back in 2007, we were a small bunch of people who loved the digital game. Over the years, our team kept growing, as well as our clients and capabilities. We evolved from a conversion and analytics driven team, to a data driven e-commerce consultancy, helping our global clients with digital acceleration. What never changed was our love for driving growth and results.

Accelerating our growth

The past 15 years were exciting, we had some lows and many highs. This year, we were named in the Top 10 enablers of digital transformation in The Netherlands. Today we are with 155 digital accelerators and ready for our next chapter.

The last couple of years, we see our assignments with clients getting bigger, and the demand for global support increasing. At the same time, our people want to grow as well; learn faster, work on more challenging projects, create more impact and get more career opportunities. So with more profitable growth on our management agenda, we started looking for ways to accelerate our growth.

Perfect match

We defined a number of criteria,  searched the globe, had many conversations and are now convinced we have found the perfect match in Wunderman Thompson.

Wunderman Thompson gives us the opportunity to capture our growth faster and helps us in accelerating our international ambition.

Commerce investment

WPP is ranked as a Leader in Forrester’s global Commerce Services Wave, and already manages more than $40bn of direct and $20bn of marketplace GMV for clients and employs 13,500 commerce specialists across its agencies. Newcraft joining Wunderman Thompson reflects the company’s ongoing investment into its commerce offer for clients, as consumer needs continue to change.

With this collaboration we can serve more international clients, and gain more in-depth knowledge in the industries we operate in. We see a great fit in terms of our client networks, people and culture. Our meetings with the teams have been nothing but positive and relaxed, and we can’t wait to see the opportunities this will bring for our clients and our colleagues.
