24 Hour Data Challenge for brands
On May 9 & 10 the top data talent in the Netherlands gather in B.Amsterdam for the fifth edition of the 24 Hour Data Challenge. During this event 100 selected Master beta students work 24 hours straight on a real data case for one of the five partners: Heineken, Picnic, the Police, Praxis and Ymere. This year Newcraft is hosting the event together with Google Cloud.
The 24 Hour Data Challenge gets bigger and bigger each year; last year three companies provided a case, this year there are five. The event is the perfect opportunity to spot and recruit data talent. And as a result they get new, data-driven insights within 24 hours. The participating students get to experience what it’s like to work as a real data scientist for a large organization and they have a chance at winning great case prizes and the main prize of €5000.
