Strategy Consultant

As a Strategy Consultant, you play a pivotal role in guiding clients towards sustainable and profitable growth across markets, customer segments, value chains, channels, and their product/service portfolios.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic plans, initiatives, and frameworks to help clients achieve their business objectives and overcome challenges.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, foster strong relationships, understand their needs, and provide strategic guidance and insights.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of market trends, competition, industry dynamics, and internal capabilities to inform strategic recommendations and decision-making.
  • Identify and define complex business problems, develop hypotheses, and design data-driven approaches to test them, using tools such as market analysis, financial modeling, and data interpretation.
  • Develop and refine business strategies, including market entry strategies, growth strategies, product/service positioning, and organizational design.
  • Oversee and manage consulting projects, define project scopes, set milestones, allocate resources, and ensure timely delivery of project deliverables within budget.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior consultants, effectively delegate tasks, and foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
  • Prepare and deliver impactful presentations, reports, and recommendations to clients and stakeholders to effectively convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities, participating in client pitches, and cultivate relationships with prospective clients.

Qualifications

Experience
A working experience over 10 years and a strong track record of success in strategy consulting (minimum of 6 years), preferably within a reputable consulting firm. 

Abilities
Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to analyze complex business challenges, develop insights, and formulate data-driven strategies. Proficiency in applying frameworks, conducting market analysis, financial modeling, and competitive assessments.

Expertise
Experience in scoping projects, developing work plans, allocating resources, managing timelines, and ensuring high-quality deliverables within budget.

Leadership skills
Experience in mentoring and developing experienced consultants, fostering collaboration, and managing diverse team dynamics.

Business acumen
Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of core business functions, financial principles, and organizational dynamics. Ability to assess financial performance, evaluate business models, and make strategic recommendations to drive profitability and growth.
